Hi, I'm Kara a photographer based in Swansea, South Wales.

My interest in photography started when I was just a little girl running around with a camera trying to photograph wildlife and landscapes. That early curiosity quickly turned into something more, and I’ve been hooked on photography ever since.

Over the years my work has taken me in lots of different directions, but I developed a particular passion for sports photography, especially football. There’s nothing quite like the energy of being pitch-side and capturing those split-second moments as the game unfolds.

I studied Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at university, which gave me a strong foundation in visual storytelling. Since then I’ve worked with photography agencies on a range of projects, covering everything from news and PR to major events and live sport.

Whether I’m capturing a decisive moment in a match or documenting an event as it happens, photography for me is about telling real stories through real moments.
